CNC Milling

Looking for precision-cut parts from thicker and bigger materials? Want to combine your art with exotic, beautiful hardwoods?

Protonaut’s CNC routers are the perfect tools to create large cutouts or to intricately carve designs into materials. Our MakerMade (formerly Maslow) CNC can carve parts out of full sheets of plywood or composites for bigger-than-lifesize creations. For more intricate artwork or precision parts, our Shopbot Desktop can make 2D and 3D cuts with micrometer precision. Our CNC routers have been used to create custom artwork from planks of oak and African mahogany, relief landscapes from slabs or storm-fallen pine, and precisely-dimensioned plastic housings for biomedical monitoring equipment.

Check out our gallery see examples of what you can do with CNC milling, or just send us a note to see if it’s the right tool for the project you have in mind!
